Motorcycle Rental Licence Requirements in Dubai

Before booking, it is important to check that your motorcycle licence and riding experience meet the rental requirements.

Here is what you need to know when renting from Trails & Dust Motorcycle Rentals & Tours.

Minimum Age

The minimum age to rent one of our motorcycles is 25 years old.

You must hold a valid motorcycle driving licence appropriate for the motorcycle you want to rent.

We accept many international motorcycle licences, including valid UK and European motorcycle licences.

International Driving Permit requirements can depend on the country that issued your licence, so please contact us before booking if you are unsure.

A valid licence alone may not be enough.

Our fleet consists primarily of large adventure motorcycles, including BMW GS models.

Riders must have suitable experience riding motorcycles of a similar size and category to the motorcycle being rented.

If you plan to take the motorcycle from Dubai into Oman, please tell us before your rental.

Additional insurance and border documentation must be arranged in advance.

A refundable AED 5,000 security deposit is required per motorcycle.

The deposit is made by credit card pre-authorization. American Express is not accepted.

The pre-authorization is normally released after the rental according to our deposit policy.

Another person may ride the motorcycle only when registered with Trails & Dust as an Authorized Rider.

The additional rider must also meet our licence, age and experience requirements.
