Can You Ride a Rental Motorcycle from Dubai to Oman?

Yes. Our motorcycles can travel from the UAE to Oman when the required documents and insurance are arranged in advance.

Do not leave the paperwork until the day of your trip. Contact us before your rental so we can prepare everything required for the border crossing.

Documents for Riding to Oman

Riders normally need:

• Passport
• Valid motorcycle driving licence
• Motorcycle registration
• Oman insurance
• Power of Attorney (POA) for the motorcycle

For Trails & Dust rental motorcycles, we can arrange the required Power of Attorney in advance.

The POA costs AED 670 per rider and normally requires around 48 hours to prepare.

Which Border Should You Use?

For motorcycle trips from Dubai into mainland Oman, we normally recommend crossing through the Al Ain area, including the Mezyad border.

Border procedures can change, so we recommend confirming your planned route with us before departure.

If you are travelling to Musandam, the route is different. Entry to Musandam should be planned through Ras Al Khaimah.

Mileage

Our motorcycle rentals include 350 km per rental day.

Additional kilometres are charged at AED 1 per km. Longer rentals of 9 days or more include unlimited mileage.
