Motorcycle Rental Deposit Refund Policy

Trails & Dust FZCO will collect AED 4,000 as a security deposit at the time of booking. This amount is applicable per motorcycle and cannot be consolidated or discounted as a part of a group booking. 

This deposit cannot be adjusted against any rental booking amount. 

The deposit will be held for a maximum of 10 working days after the motorcycle has been returned and will be refunded, minus any charges or traffic/police fines and damage recovery, to the renter in the same mode of payment in which the deposit was made. 

The deposit amount will be used to claim the following expenses while the motorcycle has been in possession of the renter.

  • Any toll fees applicable in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
  • Any traffic or police fines
  • Any damage to the motorcycle or a third party while the motorcycle was in the renter’s possession. 
  • Any misc. damage occurring as a result of the renter using the motorcycle and the renter is at fault.

Trails & Dust FZCO has the right to claim an additional amount in case the toll and the traffic fines exceed the deposit amount.

The maximum liability in case of a total loss only, if you do not take the option full cover, is AED 25,000. Our comprehensive insurance covers the motorcycle and third party damage. Riders and passengers are not covered and it is strongly advised you have your own travel/medical insurance in place while you’re riding our rental motorcycles. In case of an accident that requires a police report, AED 700 is charged as a traffic fine. Damages to the motorcycle is not included under insurance and will be settled against your deposit.
