The history of Trails & Dust is really the history of founder Martin Alva’s passion to create one of the best travel motorcycle adventure travel company in the UAE.
Martin wasn’t born into travel. In fact, he got his start in travel journalism in 2007 which opened the doors for a world of exploration on two and four wheels. Here he got the chance to travel to remote and exotic destinations far and wide. Along the way, he got hooked to travel and the personal transformation it brings. From here on, there was no looking back.
Martin first cut his teeth in the adventure touring world back in 2010 as tour leader and brand manager at Vista Adventures, a Dubai based adventure motorcycle touring company which was a wholly owned subsidy of Royal Enfield Motorcycles Middle East & North Africa. He then founded Red Panda Adventures in 2015 along with a friend to focus on premium motorcycle adventure tours across India.
Trails & Dust is an amalgamation of his achievements on adventure motorcycles and his love for adventure travel. It is an idea that has brewed long enough hand now it’s time to serve it to riders who want to explore the UAE on two wheels and experience all it has to offer.
He is a BMW GS Trophy finalist at the 2020 BMW GS Trophy Oceana held in New Zealand where the Middle East team ranked 11th out of 24 teams on their debut.
Trails & Dust is run by a guy who loves to ride, race and loves adventure motorcycling. He has shared an unmatched level of knowledge, guidance and expertise within the two-wheeled community and all that has culminated in this company which is aimed at highlighting the amazing landscape of UAE for those who want to explore it on two wheels.
